In wake of the outbreak of Novel Corona-virus which has made most activities to come to a stand still Globally,TOCH in partnership with CAFOD&Trocaire in partnership is responding to the pandemic through community Awareness raising/public education campaigns on COVID 19 through radio talk shows on how the disease can spread from the infected person to another and its preventive measures in Kuajok and Tonj North in collaboration with State Ministry of Health, Warrap State. TOCH with support from CAFOD&Trocaire in-partnership developed pictorial posters and banners to strengthen mass sensitization of communities on signs and symptoms of COVID 19 and the preventative measures to take up for safety
we are also strengthening the communities to boost respond to COVID19 through engaging community Mobilizers driven from Community Care Groups in Alek, Gogrial, Kuajok, Manyang, Ajiep and Yithliet and educating them on the dangers of the disease, its symptoms and where to report/contact if a person is developing symptoms of Corona Virus
Before the Closure of a vocational training center due to corona virus, TOCH briefed 100 beneficiaries on global outbreak of the disease
